PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

In compliance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on Data Protection, we inform you that your personal data will be incorporated into the processing system TRAINING AND CONGRESSES, the purpose of which is to process registration requests, as well as to carry out economic and accounting management, administrative management of collections and payments, and the historical record of commercial relations.

Attendees and speakers are also informed that images of the participants will be used for the purpose of disseminating and documenting the professional training and outreach activities of the Professional Association, and that the images may be published on Social Media, the Website, and in the Media.

LEGAL BASIS

In compliance with Article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the Ilustre Colegio Oficial de Químicos de Galicia requests your consent for the processing of your personal data, informing you that such processing has its legal basis in the consent granted by the data subject.

DATA DISCLOSURE

Data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law. In the case of images of speakers and attendees at conferences and courses, these may be shared with media outlets.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Data will be retained while the individual remains enrolled as a student or for the number of years necessary to comply with legal obligations and address any potential liabilities arising from the purpose for which the data was collected, with the exception of images of attendees and speakers at conferences and courses, which will be kept for as long as necessary to disseminate and document the activity.

EXERCISE OF RIGHTS

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, and data portability, as well as opposition and restriction of processing, by writing to: Rúa Lisboa, 10, Edificio Área Central, 1st Floor, Office 31-E, 15707 Santiago de Compostela (A Coruña), enclosing a photocopy of your National Identity Document (DNI) or, failing that, another document proving your identity. Alternatively, prior to such action, you may request at the same address that the forms made available by the Controller for this purpose be sent to you.

RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT

If you consider that you have not obtained full satisfaction in the exercise of your rights, you may file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, addressing it to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos), C/ Jorge Juan, 6 – 28001 Madrid.
